In case you don’t know…

You can pronounce it ‘yew’ or ‘yeow’, as long as the emphasis is on the ‘ye’ and you stretch it out.

Essentially it’s used as a term of encouragment or celebration (like at a gig) or a greeting (“yeo”-me, “yeo”-you reply….not to be confused with ‘yo’). It’s a generally sunshiney thing to say.

Spread the word, and the word is ‘yeo’!

Sun’s shining today in Belfast and it’s the first proper hint of Spring this year. Celebrated with an early morning paint, think I might come back and tidy it up another day.

I did a piece in the T13 skate park in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast a couple of weeks ago where the good folk there set up a time-lapse while I was painting. The finished piece along with the video of the time lapse was featured on the cover of their on-line magazine  ‘Session 13’. I also did an interview for the mag.
